  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

  • downs44: Hey! Newbie here. I met some of you guys at the F2GC event this weekend. I was with the mountain rescue group. Did not have my X up there due to some mechanical issues. I need some input and was wondering which forum I should put my questions in.

East Valley (Mesa): Xterra Measurements need
« on: September 06, 2014, 01:36:42 PM »
Hey guys so I have a group buy set up, and I need to get some measurements for them to get these into production. I live out at 59th ave and 101, and the shop is out in Mesa.

If anyone is able to swing by to get let them get some measurements thatd be awesome. The owner will be there at 9 am on Monday.

and this is their address:
Knuckle Busters
240 E Coury ave
#113
Mesa, 85210

Let me know if anyone is able to do this so I dont have to drive about 45-50 minutes 1 way to get some measurements.

Ya good point, I'll post over there also. I wanted to see if someone even if they werent involved in the group buy would be willing to stop by for some measurements.

and for the 1st gen measurements, if you are in on the group buy he will need to get some measurements from you're rig. As of right now youre the only 1st gen showing interest.

I posted over in the buy/sell section. But it is for rock sliders. 1st 2nd xterra, and 2nd gen frontiers right now.

check out the for sale section for details.
