New transplant
« on: November 05, 2014, 06:53:43 AM »
Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of moving to Phoenix with my wife. We are transplanting from *cough*sandiego*cough*. I've had my 05 Xterra for a couple years now, and while it's still pretty mild we love going out exploring. I am a member over on SCCX, only had a chance to do 1 club run but I enjoyed the dynamic and meeting new people.

Hopefully we will be able to make it out on more runs over there!

Thanks for the welcomes!

Welcome from Surprise. What part of Phoenix are you moving to?

Currently renting an apartment near Paradise valley mall. My wife is living there now (started a new job), I'm stuck here until my school semester ends.

Seems like a nice area, definitely excited. Just need to figure out if we can survive the summers  ;D

Welcome!!!!! Sorry to hear you needed to leave San Diego get ready for the color brown. I'm trying to get there soon.

Fortunately I'm coming from a rural area over here, so its almost as brown as it is over there, plenty of dead dry plants here :)

Might end up moving back sometime (all of our family is in San Diego) but we're at going to enjoy better gun laws and lower taxes for a while. And a change in scenery will be nice, though.

Thanks Sfjujimoto! It's not that fancy but gets the job done! I appreciate the offer, we might take you up on that in december when I finish moving depending on how many family and friends I can convince to help :p. We don't have too much stuff accumulated yet though which is a big plus!
