  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Arizona Shooting /Range & Emporium
« on: November 12, 2014, 05:55:33 PM »
In my travels I discovered Arizona Shooting in wonderful , Ft. Lauderdale Florida. I felt almost I was home again in Phoenix! They had a good example of Western  (1900 Century ) guns. I spied on a Marlin 30/30Stainless for 680.bucks.

There was drooling involved. :-X :-X

Now I got to appeal to mrs. Ghost on my next gun.  I know all you are saying good luck! :o :o

I did find a good selection in 124 grain  9mm and the gentlemen got  a free pass for the range.
I will send a picture when I am there next time.!!

Took the Glock 19 out for the first 200 rounds. I had some ejection problems with brass, but a drop of oil and breaking in the mech., soon solved the problem.  I noticed the Glock excelled with either 124  and or 147 gain ammunition. acracy is excent and I placed a round every where I aimed at.
The weapon was well balance and helped my marksmanship. 8) 8) 8)

As for the Range I was more enthusiastic   being there , because Arizona has more meaning to me that the employees who never  experienced our Great State.   I have a few pictures, but I can not post due to technical issue of photos today.

To say the least My Arizona X was a great Promo! They should at least buy on AZ Flag for the names sake. ???

Keep trying out ammo. All failure to feed and/or failure to eject issues go back to ammo 99.99% of the time and for a Glock you shouldn't necessarily need to heavily oil it or break it in to get it to function correctly. Of the top of my head, the Wolf brand is notoriously bad as are some of the steel cased and non-brass (aluminum?) cased rounds you find for cheap. With that said, rounds like Winchester white box or Remington UMC work well and are just as inexpensive. Enjoy the 19!

I was using reloads on the 115 grain , that was purchase thru the local gun shops. When I went into the second box which was Federal  Ammo the Glock worked perfectly.  You do have a validate point on this suggestion.

I purchase some ammo which was produced / repacked in Prescott source, from Guns Ect., in Chandler Arizona and it proven to b very reliable. No Feed or ejection issues. Of course Guns Ect offered 124 and 147 ball ammo all of the time without issue.

It was truly amazing the rapid fire ability of the Glock. A dealer showed me a clip on a full auto Glock 19.  To describe it was more ore less a grease gun config.

I can see my next purchase will be a 40 or 10mm Glock.
