Hi-lift Lift Mate review
« on: April 14, 2014, 12:53:32 PM »
Product review!

Tried out my Hi-Lift Lift Mate today. If you have an off road vehicle and don't have sliders, you NEED this piece of equipment for your off-road kit. It simply attaches to your hi-lift, just slide it on and  make sure to attach the safety bolt so it won't accidentally slide off. The rubber piece rests against the tire/rim, and the hooks fit the Xterra rims nicely. There was a little fiddling to get the lift raised to the right height and get the hooks to sit just right at the same time, but once there's tension on the rim the hooks will stay and just lift as normal. Once off the ground, slide a jack stand under the axle and lower the jack and you're set to either start working or swap the tire/rim out etc. just the reverse to lower back down. Attach the hooks to the rim, lift up a bit, remove the jack stand, and lower to the ground.
Wishin' I was fishin'...
