  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Table Mesa Cleanup - Sunday (3/1/15)
« on: January 23, 2015, 08:29:08 AM »
Hello AZXC,

I just got an email from Tom B. over at the BLM.  TreadLightly!, along with the BLM, are holding a trail cleanup at Table Mesa Road on March 1st (which is a Sunday).  TM is a great area with a lot of trails that are used by multiple types of users (4x4s, Dirtbikes / ATVs, Hikers, Shooters, and Equestrians, too).  The problem is, not everyone packs out what they pack in.

What:  Table Mesa Cleanup
When:  March 1st, 2015 (a Sunday)
Where:  I-17 exit 236 (WEST side of freeway)
Time:  8:00am-2:00pm

If you attend the cleanup, please bring gloves, a hat, sunscreen, snacks, water, etc.  Also, be sure to wear close-toed shoes.

Items that may be useful are rakes, shovels, and trash bags.  I will bring a box or two of the Contractor's trashbags, as well as my trailer (to haul the garbage back to the staging area).

Hope to see you there!

Note:  for AZXCers who attend, I have Table Mesa Cleanup stickers (still had a few left over from the really big cleanup we sponsored back in 2010).

The cleanup at TM is just under two weeks away.  Hopefully, we can get a good Nissan showing out there.

Table Mesa Cleanup is one week out (March 1st).  I just heard that lunch will be provided (a tire shop has recently signed on as a sponsor of the event).

This is shaping up to be a good turnout by the AZXC crew!

FYI, if anyone wants to caravan up to Table Mesa, I will be at the McDonald's on Carefree Highway and I-17 at 8:00am.  Going to grab a bite to eat while I'm there, and I will head out promptly at 8:30am.

See you there!

Yes, "rain or shine", this will take place on Sunday.  Rain would be good, as there would be some fun mud holes to play in.

Sounds good, then!

Another question: is it alright to roll up to the event late? Start time is listed as 8 am...
