By "Boulders", I assume you mean the Boulders OHV Area (near Lake Pleasant), and not The Boulders resort (in Carefree). There are some great trails out at the Boulders OHV Area. For those that haven't been, it's a few miles west of the turnoff for Lake Pleasant (at mile marker 11.5 on the north side of SR74 - aka Carefree Highway).See the link below for more information about Boulders OHV Area (#19 on the list):http://azstateparks.com/ohv/wheretoride.htmlHere is a map of the general vicinity:http://azstateparks.com/ohv/downloads/OHV_Map_2008_Hieroglyphic.pdfPlease be advised that this area is a mixture of State Trust Land (need a permit), and BLM lands (no permit). I have never been asked for my State Trust Land permit, but it is a good idea to have a current one.For more information on State Trust Land permits, click here:https://land.az.gov/natural-resources/recreational-permits
Ya I was talking about the restaurant but looks like I'll be exploring this weekend

Some high-speed stuff, some technical stuff, a few climbs / descents, etc., etc. There are a lot of dirt bikes and quads near the trailhead, but once you get out of the staging area, the crowds thin out.The map that I linked to shows the 22-mile loop. That is a really fun trail (actually several trails linked together). Good scenery, good climbs. There are also a whole bunch of side trails that connect in to the main ones shown on the map. Makes for a good day of wheeling.
If I'm honest a meet and greet at Boulders would be easiest for me. I wouldn't have to worry about getting a ton of things together and renting a Ramada. Also, Boulders has a great beer selection and good food. AZXC could sponsor appetizers and everyone could purchase any drinks they would like.
