New From Mesa
« on: February 11, 2015, 01:25:33 AM »
Hey everyone, I finally made my way over from TheNewX, and I think I've seen a couple of AZXC stickers around town in the last few months. Figured it was time to check it out. :)

I have a 2006 Red Brawn X, closing in on 199,000 miles. Stock, apart from cosmetic mods. Got her back in September '14.

I hope this group is as fun as it sounds!

Thanks everyone!

6 was also my number in HS water polo.

I do have a question: how do I avatar? There's no mention of size requirements (thus, being able to properly size one) in the user CP.

EDIT: One more. When paying dues, is it annual per member, or is it a set date? If set, is it prorated?

As for the avatar it looks like you figured it out.  We had a lot off issues a while back when the size limit was very low, I upped it and as long as you're not trying to load uncompressed or supper large photos it goes smoothly.  As for membership, we keep track of it on a monthly basis.  So if you join today, expect to get an email asking you to donate in early March of next year.

Glad to hear membership is that simple.

As for the avatar, I haven't figured anything out.

Maybe I misunderstood, you have an avatar, so I thought that was the issue.  Is it the format? The image should be 4:3, I think under 1Mb.

It shows properly in the user CP, but squishes (at least for me) in the forum.

yes, it is a 16:9 photo, so it needs to be cropped to 4:3 or squished.
