  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

Crown King on Monday 2-23-15
« on: February 16, 2015, 12:34:21 PM »
I know this is only a weeks notice, and its on a Monday.  If anyone wants to join me they are welcome to come.  Ill be meeting with a friend before or around 5am.  The route I plan to take the normal route to CK, but I will be stopping at some sights along the way. Ghost towns, Grave Sites, and other ruins.
There will be some hiking, but not much at all. Most of the things I want to check out are right next to the road.  There will be no real rush to get to CK.

Turned out to be an awesome and interesting trip. This was my first time taking the back road to CK.  We had Rain, hail, sleet, and snow!!  We stopped at a few sites on the way up.. Took us 7 hours to get to CK, because of the weather and stops.  I will have more pics later.

Looks like a lot of fun.  That's the thing about CK, ran it 3 weeks ago and it was sunny and warm.  Now hail and snow, you never know what you'll get.
