  • Rear Axle Seal: I am thinking working on doing a D21 Hardbody theme for my Titan.  I have already gone deep and cut three holes in my hood for the actual vents from the 87-91.  Also picked up Nissan 4X4 emblem from 86-89 Hardbodies.  Any other ideas out there on how to tie in the design elements?

I picked up a set from this Craigslist ad.

Fairly priced for what you're getting, but little information on the web about them. I decided to give them a try.

I had a set of 17" S/C wheels that had some horribly abused BFG KO's that I dared to put another 200 miles off-road during SWANKy's AZRun XIII. I didn't trust them for another outing after that. lol They held up great and I have a favorable view of them, but much too pricey for me to afford.

My first impression from mounting is that they required similar weight that the KO's required for balancing. They handle well, are a little noisy, but really it's a super aggressive tread mud terrain, as I expected so no surprises. The stiffer sidewalls over my Destination A/T's were surprising, however you are still sitting on top of chunks of rubber that is meant to clean out so you feel a little slippery when cornering/braking really hard. I haven't had to make a panic stop, but it'll be interesting. They are meant to be my excursion tires not my everyday ones. I'll get another set of street only tires someday.

I've put over couple hundred miles on them so far and most of the Teets are still present, I had expected them to wear quickly and show that there first, but so far, they are still there. I'll drive them around until after the Broken Arrow trip to get some more miles on them. ;) Did I mention I love driving my Xterra? Gas prices have come down so it's a little more affordable.

I'll add to this thread as I wear them out, with an occasional picture of the wear/tear they receive.

Check them out so I'm not the only one.

They aren't dirty and I don't like pavement poses so you'll have to wait to see what they look like on the X, all I can say is wow.

I had a set on my Zuk, best budget tires around. They reminded me a lot of the several sets of KM2's I have owned over the years. Good aggressive tread but soft enough not to be noisey.
