  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

My Brother, friend Tomas (Xtasy) and I are bringing some R/C toys with us to the retention basin there near the dog park to play.

If off-roading wasn't already an expensive hobby, I inherited a Traxxas Slash 4x4 which put a bug into me to take on other projects. lol

I just finished putting together a badly damaged Nitro Trainer Plane and need to get it trimmed and flying good. Having little experience I expect to crash, but hey you never know. I also don't know if I got the engine tuned properly, I ran one tank through it messing with the mixture screws till it seemed to be right. Until it is brought to full temp I won't know.

I have a trainer radio and hope to let others try their hand in sharing the inexperience. lol Depends on my ability to set it up right.  ;D

So we'll at least have our Traxxas Slashes there and maybe some drones weather permitting. I might even bring a rebuilt and untested 3D Helicopter I crashed for a test run. Depends on how long the Plane lasts as to if I fly it. It scares the crap out of me, just youtube helo accidents and you'll see what I mean.  :o Also if it's too windy I won't be able to fly anything.

Well more the merrier and would love to meet up with a few more people on my side of town. Only going for a couple hours at least, it's going to be like 91 or something, feels like summer already.

Spotted a nice Gen2 today with a Personalized license plate that started with CT, I can't remember the rest now...

Video of the Traxxas at Night with my first rendition of lighting on it.

They want some pretty pennies for bodies and few come prepainted. I have a Baja body that I just can't bring myself to destroy, I bought paint but yet to have done it. I haven't seen any Nissan bodies, ford Raptor is like $75 at my local hobby shop. ::)
