Spotted Yellow Second Gen (East Mesa)
« on: April 17, 2015, 08:24:21 AM »
Spotted a Yellow Second Gen, lifted, tires, maybe wheels (black), de-badged, Magnaflow at the least, and NO stickers pulling in the Costco gas station on Sossaman (Mesa Costco) yesterday about mid-afternoon. Clean and sounded nice.
Other Toys:
2014 BMW F800GSA
2008 Kawasaki KLX450r (Supermoto)
1979 Honda CX500 (Custom Build)

If it had a rack, I'd say it was WHATTHA.

Argh, can't remember if it had a rack. If it did, it didn't stand out.

He has a low profile roof rack.   He makes them.

It was probably my wife. She likes to fuel up at Costco. There are not many lifted yellow ones around so I am pretty sure it was our rig. Yes she is a badge and sticker less rig. I have a custom y-pipe done on it and a Flowmaster on her.

From front to back: K&N cold air intake, intake manifold spacer, custom better flowing y-pipe, Flowmaster 60 Series Delta flow muffler, chrome tip. The muffler is designed for 6 cylinder motors so it does not open it up too much. I also left the little resonator in the back to make sure it does not drone. I am very happy with the set up. Still feels torquey even with the larger tires on it.

Did the manifold spacer make a difference in sound and performance?

Performance yes for sure as for sound I don't think it was much if at all but I was not listening for a change.
