  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

I was thinking, anyone interested in a Fat Tire decal? I don't know if the support team ever had one but seems like we should, maybe not one for every year, just one for being there. I'll start another thread if interested, in the vendor section.

Moved the topic here, if you guys have any suggestions on a design let me know. I still haven't heard if there was ever a decal or not, specifically for the offroad support crew. I'm guessing I'd need to make 30ish.

could do something like that and change the cog to a tire and the bottom part to something about off-road assistance.

I was going for a badge shape since  our azxc sticker is state shaped.

I really like that,  maybe add fat tire 2015 or something like that in the bottom white section angled right under the tree line.

Need to run this idea by Ted. He has been involved in Fat Tire for quite some time now. Plus there are a lot of old school AZXC members that attend this function. Just feels like were stepping on there toes a little bit.

Kinda why I posted in on the thread but Ted hasn't chimed in...

This.
3- We've ran a "Marshalls Militia" (Fat Tire support based) sticker up the flagpole, and it seems to get salutes, just need the art gotten to the sticker guy.. A basic sticker stating FT participation, and varied design for members who've helped over 10 years and whatnot.

Not sure who has that sticker, as is. I'm not a printer so I can't do that one either way. I was going to donate my time and materials to make one for the AZXC guys to have on their rig. Just bringing it up again. If the honorary or old school guys want to have their say then so be it. Something simple preferred.

Do we have a picture of the Marshalls Militia sticker?

Ok, talked to Marshall. He think the idea is great. Said they never had a support decal. So I will get your ideas and we'll see what we can come up with before the next Fat Tire event. Sound good?!

In regards to number of years, I will wait to hear back from Marshall on that idea.

Other ideas, GOOO! ...

The sticker is essentialy a large knobby tire w/ the words Marshalls Militia curved over the top of the tire. Inside is a skull w/ two crossed wrenches for the bones.. Beneath that the words FAT TIRE SUPPORT. Under the tire the word VETERAN for those who've helped over 10 years. Chevrons for every 3 years you've helped otherwise..

I'm trying to run down the artwork, the guy who had it on his computer is no longer working here w/ me..
