  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Still planning on joint Saturday. Will the fire in strawberry affect this?

I sure hope not. Either way I am still going.

Me too are you going up Friday?

Is it possible to camp near the water in that area?
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

I would say no. The lake is recessed into the earth. Jagged rocks and steep cliffs surround 3/4 of the laked.

Looks like the highs for Saturday and Sunday are going to be 86 and 85 degrees. Lows are about 58 degrees.

Perfection, I'm putting new line on my fishing reel and making sure a couple hammocks are packed.

Im also getting a bit excited.. Im already packed and fueled up.....Bad news for me, I cant leave until tomorrow afternoon.
I will get to the lake around 7pm on Saturday.. I will be leaving Monday or Tuesday morning.
How big is the camping area? Do you think it will be easy to find the group?
