  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Good Shop for XTerra Mods in Phoenix
« on: June 19, 2015, 11:37:04 AM »
New here.  We have a 2010 Offroad.  Would like to do some basic modifications to the X, but I'm not a DIY guy.  Can anyone recommend a local shop that does work on the X?  I am looking for a front bumper/winch, roof rack, beefed up rear suspension (bottoms out with a camping load out on rough roads) and a trailer hitch for now.

Hey Wade welcome aboard! You could always try desert rat for parts and install but some of us here like wrenching on trucks, I'm sure you could probably get it cheaper online and we could help with install. I would be more than willing to help you out. If you want to get stuff online check out nissteclifts.com and prgproducts.com, for bumpers check out heftyfabworks.com or shrockworks.com

It all depends on how soon you want to do it all. If you don't mind waiting we do Mod Days where we all get together and wrench on eachothers rigs. Due to the extreme heat right now we most likely will not have a mod day till the fall.
