Maybe AZXC should invest in some cleanup tools, for which we can also reuse on other future excursions.

Stuff like:

Scoop shovels
Heavy Rake - rocks and gravel
Medium Rake - Grass and leaf
???

Maybe buy airtools for future mod days too?
Keep everything at my place since I'm not a club member and would be impartial as to whom may use them?

Not trying to get off topic. AZXC has been involved w/ trail cleanups for over 15 years. Spending club funds, has never been an idea w/ any merit.. Members, like Avi, you, me, and I'm sure most everyone else, bring their own.

I'll come. I love opportunities to teach my kids about helping the community through volunteer work.

Make sure you bring some sturdy gloves for the kids or shovels.

Will do. I'll make a Home depot run before he head out.

Alright everyone. This is less than a week away. Id like to put a list together of all that are attending and which session you are planning on going to.

Last year I was unable to locate Avi and Ted. So Jeff and Myself went off and worked. I noticed a lot of other groups working together last year. It would be neat for all of us to work together, meet one another, and just BS while we clean up the desert.

I plan on doing the morning session and would be up for meeting up somewhere and rolling in together showing a Nissan presence.

I will update the OP to reflect show is attending what session.

Hi Kyle, sorry for the delayed response, but I'd like to meet up for the morning session of the cleanup.  How about meeting at the McDonald's on Shea (1 block west of SR-87)?

McDonald's (NWC of Shea & Saguaro in Fountain Hills)
16936 E Shea Blvd,
Fountain Hills, AZ 85268

The cleanup starts at 8:00am, so I could meet you at McD's at 7:00.  We would need to roll out by 7:30, if we wanted to be there for the 8:00am start time.

I always bring my own!  But yeah, unless we are buying an AZXC Tig welder that I can keep at my house (haha), I vote for NOT spending club funds on tools / supplies.  That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to sponsoring a cleanup in the future (similar to what we did for the TM Cleanup in 2010).

I would be up for meeting at that spot also.  Pretty sure Jeff is coming to the morning cleanup with the fronty and a trailer
