  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

New X Today!
« on: August 26, 2015, 04:04:02 AM »
Well I finally got lock and loaded on a 2014 X S Models with 21Kand for 22,500$.My Trade with my modes is expected to yield about 6-7K. Even though I have 150K mikes the modes and TLC has paid off.
Now for the new X. Its up graded and more feature than my 07, but its Black. I will have to live with that and maybe put same pee and stick Kevlar on the lower quarters.

Nice and tight the suspension and rip for a life. I got a quote for a 2  1/2 lift with shocks and alignment for 514.00 from rough country.

I will try to locate some Off road wheels and get some decent GFG on 265E.   what's great about this is my payments will be well under $300.00.

I'd stay away from rough country's 2.5 in kit. So many people put it on then take if off cuz the rig is not built to be able to handle that. 2 inches is pushing it to have a decent ride 2.5 just makes me people made.

I got the truck. Everything is nice and tight, but it is a stock rig. It even has Seruius Radio in it. The Seats on my New X are of Poor quality, so I will have to replace them of have then recovered.

They are a basic seat unlike on by  former 07 which where a better Q even with the hole on the side. The Sterling wheel is smaller and it took a few miles to adjust to a more sensitive steering.

I has actually sadden to see my trusty O7 being drove away, so many adventures in that rig, :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

My new rig seems more compact, but the advantage is going in to tighter trails or not! :P  I look forward into getting my Black X up to Arizona  Standard! ;D

Pictures to come!

I believe you have vdc, which detects slip and works in line with your abs. But no lsd or locker in an s model.
