  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

It's been a few years, I was thinking of a fam trip this time.. Maybe let the wife drive all the blue trails, take a day off driving Wednesday and do a river trip?. Get a condo at Rim Village or whatever it's called.. We usually stop in Hovenweep or take a yurt in Mexican hat on the way home too. Anyone thinking of going this year?

Were you thinking of going the whole week?
Have you been to a GoneMoab event?

4 or 5 GONES.. Sponsor, trail leader,  tailgunner, yes. 8) I'd like to get up on Sunday prior, drive straight thru from Phoenix. Leave town Saturday, stop at Hover weep or San Juan Inn for the night before coming back to PHX.

I really would like to go back to Moab just to attend event but still debating staying the week don't think its worth just staying a couple days.
If there was enough of us it would be pretty cool

Gouldings lodge is fun in MV. A good variety of accomadations from hotel rooms and suites to a campground and RV parking. Indoor pool and general store ( a museum too) w/ an onsite resturant. Location can't be beat..

Well, looks like we're out this year. Wife just booked a Mayan Palace resort for March, and Pagosa Springs for June. If any of you've thought about going to MOAB and never have, this is an excellent opportunity for adventure. You can really see what your X can do and test the limits of your driving skill-set as well, there's no better place. You'll be with all Nissan enthusiasts too, what could be better? If you can, go.
