  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

Do the OR Pathfinders have a rear locker? Im planning to buy a 7 seater SUV this year. I was planning on buying a Land Cruiser but Im considering a Pathfinder if they have them with a rear locker.

Unfortunately there is no U.S. Model with a locker from the factory. 2005 and up have the third row available. I'm more of Toyota guy my self but for the money the pathfinder is the better deal. A 4Runner with a third row 4wd and a e locker is going to be big bucks (if you can find one). The wagon style land cruisers are world renowned for reliability but... "putting my flame suit on" ... They just don't wheel all that great even with extensive mods. There is an air Locker available and an Aussie locker available for the front of the pathfinder.. truth be told I would put the above Pathfinder with it's front locker ...long travel set up ..and 33's up against any other brand suv with a third row. Next time you see a 4Runner in a parking lot... look at the gas tank... You'll understand what I'm getting at  ;)

Looking damn good, keep us updated. I have never seen a newer pathfinder lifted this high or off-road. My first real off road vehicle was an 88' 2 Door Pathfinder.

I really like those 2 doors with the triangle looking 15" rims
Those would be a perfect SAS
