Monday Septeber 8th. The day Phoenix Flooded.  We left Phoenix around 3:30am. The neighborhood streets where already flooded. I was worried about the trail conditions up near Whickenburg.  Trail conditions where great.  We went looking at old mines and ghost towns, on or near constellation rd.

Crown King Run!!  (From I-17) The pups and I drove past CK and Horsethief lake, as far as I felt comfortable.  Then hiked to a ruin site called East Fort.   10-6-2014

This past weekend 10-15-2014.  I help haul  in supplies for a volunteer group, working on parts of the Arizona National Trail.  Telegraph Canyon Rd, South of Superior.

I hauled in 23 gallons of water. It was used for the group that hiked in, and for future hikers and bikers ion this AZ trail section.

Early morning hike before the trail work began.  A look at camp.


Finally bough some chairs. Someone was giving me a hard time about this on one of my last trips.

Car Camping in Flag 10-19





California trip. Checking out a project car for my son.   I left early to hit some a trail and a hike. 10-26
Near the Sultan Sea on my way to Painted Canyon, CA.




Leaving Covina California.  89 Toyota Supra Non-Turbo.  I was impressed with the towing of the Xterra. It didnt feel like 4800 lbs behind me.  15.5 mpg in Cali going 55-60mph. 13mpg in AZ going 65 mph.
