Hiking then Camping with some AZXC peeps. July 2014
My son and one of my dogs@ Bear Flats.

Monday Septeber 8th. The day Phoenix Flooded.  We left Phoenix around 3:30am. The neighborhood streets where already flooded. I was worried about the trail conditions up near Whickenburg.  Trail conditions where great.  We went looking at old mines and ghost towns, on or near constellation rd.

You can see the rain in this picture.

End of the road

Off the main road to another mine

Finally found a little mud.

Crown King Run!!  (From I-17) The pups and I drove past CK and Horsethief lake, as far as I felt comfortable.  Then hiked to a ruin site called East Fort.   10-6-2014
Horsethief lake.

The View From the ruins

Sleeping at Schultz Tank, North of Flagstaff.  Hiking Fremont Peak  10-20-2014

Fremont Peak. 11973ft

This past weekend 10-15-2014.  I help haul  in supplies for a volunteer group, working on parts of the Arizona National Trail.  Telegraph Canyon Rd, South of Superior.
Sunset with Picketpost in the background.

I hauled in 23 gallons of water. It was used for the group that hiked in, and for future hikers and bikers ion this AZ trail section.

Early morning hike before the trail work began.  A look at camp.

Finally bough some chairs. Someone was giving me a hard time about this on one of my last trips.
My X parked next to the AZ Trail 4Runner.

Another shot of Picketpost
