  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Flagstaff 11-16
« on: November 17, 2015, 02:45:00 AM »
This was a winter hiking trip up to Flag. After the hike,  I did go down a couple of 4x4 trails for a short distance.  The dogs where not enjoying the trails, so I turned around. It was bouncy.   It would have been fun to get a couple trucks on these trails.
Truck camped here.  It rained then snowed most of the night

Marshal Lake

Hiking 11.8 miles.

Ice cycles

4x4 Trail
I saw this while I was hiking.  I went out to search for this area.  To get here, the road was a rough, bumpy and flooded.

Great pics, love the photos of the fog on the mountain.  Let me know if anyone wants to run it on a Thursday or Friday, I'd love to do the trip on an off weekend day into the snow.  But I def need to get my new tires installed first.

Great pic  :)
Thanks. It was one my favorite pics from the trip.

Let me know if anyone wants to run it on a Thursday or Friday, I'd love to do the trip on an off weekend day into the snow.
Mondays are my only real day off.  Friday would be the only other day I could do a run like this.   I get off work at 7am on Friday morning and would have to be back that night.
