AZXC 2016 kickoff Run Date
« on: December 07, 2015, 07:16:25 PM »
Alright everyone. I have listed four dates to vote on. Pick which one works best for you. I am ending the poll on Christmas day. That way we have plenty of time to plan for which ever date is chosen to make the 2016 AZXC Kickoff Run.

I might only be able to do the 9th of January.  Got 5 business trips between last week of January and end February.

I don't have my work schedule this far in advance but if we can narrow down a date I can request it off. Or I might be off, who knows.

As it stands now I have a few days scheduled in January but no weekends, and that's been pretty hard scheduled for a month now. January 9th and 10th is highly unlikely as it's my birthday weekend. Then again, it is my birthday weekend.

I have to say any weekend past 1/9 would be preferred but not necessary.

You guys up for the 9th are too hardcore. From Thanksgiving on it has been a marathon sprint for me to the new years with two weddings, family reunions, etc. I usually take a good week to recover after new years day and make a bunch of resolution that I break after the 2nd week.

The 9th is too close to the 25th (results day) for me to request off work. Voted 23rd, but anything beyond January 12th works for me.

Since there may be multiple days that work for people, I have allowed people to change their vote on this poll.  This way people can vote on the more popular times that work within their schedule, hopefully allowing for the most participation.

Hello my name is Justin,

I am an owner of a 2015 pro 4x and I have no mods, other than removing the mudflaps, and I was just curious if this trip would be out of my league? I would like to get involved with the club, and just wanted to see if I could start with this run?

Thanks for the response!

It's a proX so technically it does have mods. :) This is a very moderate trail. However, the trail event info is on this thread now. This was just a thread to help us pick a date. Click here -> http://www.azxterraclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=2293.msg20208#msg20208

The vehicle doesnt sound out of its league but sometimes its the drivers confidence and comfort with his vehicle but i would recomend the camp out to atleast get to know the club. The more the merrier.

Its a pretty much a well maintained forest service dirt road. This would be an excellent first run, its more of a scenic cruise than anything. The fact that you have a 4x4, I wouldn't worry about much. I would just check your tires, just about every time I drive this road I come across someone with a flat.
