  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

I drove in via 17, and out 24, I think the 24 may be quicker.

Avi, about how long did it take you to get from the I-17 to the campsite?
about an hour and a half.

3 coordinates -  The trailhead sat morning, the intersection of the two trails for reference for those coming from the south, and then the actual campsite

Perhaps beverages, or chips and or a dessert?  It looks like we have the main courses taken care of. Are you camping?  Smores, or perhaps breakfast stuff.

Myself and a friend will be camping, I'd be happy to bring chips and maybe a dessert if I can find something!

Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.

Looks like I have an opportunity to head out Friday night now. I am not sure what time if I do head out Friday. Most likely late afternoon or evening. Really depends on whether or not any of the family decides to come with me or not.

Looks like I may end up missing this,  we are super busy at work right now and may end up needing to work next Saturday.  I will know for sure mid week.

We'll be driving up from Maricopa Saturday. Anyone that wants to meet up on the way is more than welcome to join us.  The wife and I will be camping/sleeping in the X. We are bringing Campfire Chili and a Cobbler for the pot luck.
