  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Hmmm let me see if I can go, I think my graduation is then...

Graduation is not important...wheeling is important.

Graduation is in no way important...Wheeling > Graduation

Just wanted to bump this to keep it on everyone's radar!  I'll be heading up to Sedona about 2PM on that Friday, and plan to get there around 4PM.  Anyone else planning on going on Friday?

As we get closer, I'm going to rely on folks that have wheeled the area and know it better than me.  I'm down for camping anywhere, as I'll have a cot tent that I'll setup with a few other incidentals.

Anyone want to step up and help create the camping location for Friday and Saturday AND the route we'll take for the wheeling trip?

If you are for sure heading to Sedona, then there are lots of camp sites. Many of us prefer the non-pay sites, or at the least the FS sites that are a minimal fee and you have some facilities. Then there are dispersed campsites, and you can camp anywhere. No facilities and away from everyone, usually. Those dates are pretty heavy in visitors since it is close to Memorial Day and a lot of people have started their vacations.

I've not camped in Sedona. Too busy I thought. I always made Sedona day trips.

I would rather spend a few days hanging out, camping, and try and wheel all the trails up there I can...I was also thinking about doing some mountain biking on Sunday.  I may bring one or both of my daughters as well, but I'm sure they'd rather spend time with their cousins than with me; if they came, I would not go mountain biking.

I have...probably won't run that trail...maybe ride to that point, but I doubt I'll ride the white line.  I'll probably do the Hangover though, and just walk the parts I don't want to ride! LOL
