Hot rod Lincoln
« on: January 26, 2016, 11:46:41 AM »
It's a '97 Lincoln Continental in Toreador metallic red paint, with Ivory leather interior. It's the modular 4.6 liter, 32 valve, 4 OHC INTECH V8 rated at 260 HP. This one, has '96 Cobra cams, and IMRC (intake manifold runner control) to regulate the fuel mix. There's 3 cats on an X-pipe and no mufflers, running into 3 inch straight pipes, so it's VERY loud. It's been tuned, and puts out approximately 300 HP at the axles.  It's on chrome 18" KRUZ Alpine K10 wheels wrapped in Falken Pro G4 rubber, the rotors and calipers are from a '96 Cobra too so it stops on a dime. It rides like a Lincoln, on their air-ride system, It's like driving a couch.. Mileage is great too at over 150k miles, still gets over 17 mpg in the city and close to 25 on the hwy. Factory JBL sound w/ 6 disc cd changer still sounds great. Lots of bells and whistles like heated seats, driver memory profile(s), a digital display w/ all operational info, theater lighting, power everything, and very adjustable seating.
