New trail rig
« on: February 14, 2016, 08:32:57 PM »
So some of you may know I've retired the trail limo and most of the parts that I developed for it are now being put to use by "thupertrooper". I was originally looking for a first or 2nd gen pathfinder as a new project but came across this and couldn't pass it up for the price.. 92 Isuzu rodeo..
Already had 315/75/16 ko's on it and a body lift. It had 4.56 gears but the rear ring gear was missing a few teeth.. I have a set of full length Chevy axles for another project that I was going to steal and swap them onto the rodeo but found a trooper front and rear axle set for penny's and decided to start there first. Rear axle was swaped and rebuilt the front Hubs and whola... New trail rig. Took it out for a test run and some air soft shooting with the wife and two of my 5 kids.. We had fun and the truck does great considering it's not my monster pathfinder and I paid a ridiculous price for it..sas and 3:1 transfer case gears coming soon..
If you can't crawl up you don't belong up

Cool looking project, I always kinda liked the old Isuzu and 4runner.
