I assume this will be a family friendly run correct?  I was planning on bringing my wife and daughter...

Yes, family members of all ages have been on our runs.  The only issue might be an occasional swear word or two, but other than that, very family friendly.

If you bring dogs, they must be leashed at all times out on the trails (camping spots are less restrictive - especially when at a "dispersed camping" spot).

Nah not family friendly. Usually we like to commit a few robberies and maybe a homicide or two. Not to mention all the drugs we'll be doing.

How are the logistics looking for this size of a group?  Will we be running it all at once or will half the group go earlier?

Apparently I have to get taxes done before I can leave for the weekend. Not to mention I'm still broke from moving. I haven't decided 100%, depends on a many things.

AZ-Ted is correct, aside from the talk on the CB, and perhaps late night drinking at the camp, all AZXC events are family friendly.

From the number of trucks posted up, I suggest at least breaking up into two groups, maybe 3.  Otherwise, it will quickly become a cluster F out there.

Not to step on any toes but those of us camping could easily be on the trail by 8:30.  Thoughts?

Breaking up the group has definitely been on my mind.  I just need a second trail leader.  We could either hit it early, at 8:30 as suggested, or send one group to soldiers pass first and then swap.  As the group has grown recently and I don't want to confuse the issue, perhaps it's best to simply meet up in front of the trail head and break up the group at 10 as planned.  If anyone has run these trails and would be willing to trail lead please PM me.

Add me to the list! I'll be camping as well.

Also, I'm driving up from Maricopa, so if anyone wants to caravan up to the McDonalds on Carefree then on up to the trailhead, I'd be down. Otherwise I'll be at the McDonald's around 730.

The trailhead is 90 minutes from McD's (I live right next to it).  I'm planning on leaving about 8:15.

I'm heading up to Sedona in a few hours to camp with some co-workers. Hopefully I can get up early enough to make it to the run in the morning. My friends like to party pretty hard and late!
