  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Who is it that rolled their X out on Chiva Falls

Me

What part of the trail was that on, and what happened?

Super short notice Wednesday is already here :o

I am willing to "Lead" Tucson Wash (at mammoth az) this Sunday 5/15. I have never done it though, have tmobile, and dont have CB...

You need a state land permit. I will be following the Guide to arizona backroads and 4 wheel drive trails route...

For rough details see the below link, I do not think it is not the exact route I will be running though.

If anyone wants to join this Sunday I can meet you at the Circle K at mammoth at 10am, and depending on sunlight might do some willow springs road exploration. PM me for my phone number.

Unfortunately I can't do this weekend but I still can do the 22nd is this still on.

I don't recall it being that bad or very long, it may have gotten worse over the last couple of years. I have been with groups that did it with a stock Jeep Rubicon, stock Jeep Cherokee, a stock Ford Sport Trac, stock 90's bronco, stock Tacoma, stock 80 and 100 series Land Cruiser. I know the X has better clearance than a Sport Trac.
