Looks like Saturday night at 6:30pm at Rubio's place.
Text him for directions if needed.
Post up here if you can make it and if you need work done or will just be lending a hand.

I need my front lifted a bit more, I'll take the tires off but will need Eron to wrench the rings!

I have not seen Hammer chime in but if he's around, his driveway has done quite a few lifts and other mods. :)

If it's at Rubio's, what are your major cross streets?

What's needed to do struts?

Something like this?

http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/suspension/single-action-strut-spring-compressor-43753.html

Never used one like that. The rent a tool from autozone or any auto parts store looks like this

I have used it a dozen times works good.

I haven't had good luck with those in the past they always seem to bend or twist, maybe I need to look into a better brand. I like the ones they have in auto shops, it looks like a big press.

I don't do enough springs to purchase one but renting it is good enough for me.
For our Nissans its alot easier since you can remove the whole strut to work on.

I picked up a rental set from Autozone last night, like the one pictured.  If someone has a better compressor I'm open to it.
Greg at PRG suggested that if using these bar types, you pick up 2 sets and use 3 bars for safety.  Makes sense since the potential energy will be distributed into 3 points.
If someone who's coming has an extra set, could you bring it.  Otherwise if I don't hear back from anyone, i'll probably rent a 2nd set.

Compressing the coils is what's making me the most nervous, so i'm going to try to be as cautious as possible when doing it.

I got under the truck last night and sprayed some PB Blaster onto all the nuts that I thought we'd be touching.

Also picked up some 1/2 x 3-1/8 x 8 ubolts to replace the OEM.  I'll bring my dremel and metal cutting wheels to take off any excess if needed.

I want to thank everyone who showed up and helped out with my lift yesterday. We finished in about 4 hours. I really appreciated the knowledge and help.
Here's a couple crappy pics that show the before and after. Worked out to be about 1.5 in the front and 2.5 in the rear.  The rear no longer bottoms out, which was my primary goal.

After:

Looks alot better.
Later on when you decide on going with upper control arms you will be able to lift the front a little more and get more travel.
But for now that sits pretty good.
