First Blood Sedona Az Black X
« on: May 30, 2016, 12:47:43 PM »
Well Took Black X for a serious test run with my untested suspension and no I could not, kill my BFG Long Trail Tires.   We decided to venture Schiebly’s road and the thinking it would be a nice fun trail to get my feet dusty!
There I go again thinking! It turned out to be very technical and washed heavy at certain points. There was one point where the bed rock was extremely washed out and turned out to be a 14 inch climb and I did not even rub up under the undercarriage once.  (Good Deal)
The 4WD drive actually worked better than my trusty 07 White X. I kept pace very well, even with the limitations of the Factory BFG Long Trail. The other trucks more modified had to slow to a crawl.
However the rental guys were dangerous and looking to get in trouble with their over driving and not being a aware of their surroundings. (Busy being tourist)
