  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Jan 2010 Meeting - Jan 8th 6:30pm @ 1st Class Auto Body
« on: December 24, 2009, 01:08:34 AM »
Are we planning on holding a January 2010 meeting?  Even if we don't have a meeting, we should decide if AZXC is going to sponsor / donate to the 4 Peaks Cleanup in February.

See link for 4 Peaks Cleanup:  http://azxterraclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=228.0

EDIT:  Meeting Location
First Class Autobody
3002 North Civic Center Boulevard
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

(From the intersection of Scottsdale Rd and Thomas, go east on Thomas, and then north on N Civic Center Blvd.  First Class Autobody is on the west side of the street).

I think we should sponsor it. Club funds are somewhat low, but I hink individual donations would be good. I would be willing to throw a couple a bucks towards it.  :)

In accordance with the bylaws  ;)....election of officers is to take place at the February meeting, with officers official taking their roles March 1st. This means nominations need to happen at the January meeting, ideally. The other option is to post your nomination in a 'Nomination' thread to be created at a later date.

Although I'm sure it will not be an issue ::), I will respectfully decline any nominations for office. I just want to wheel (and be my usual a**hole self) in 2010. It has been a great 2.5 years as President, I think we have accomplished some good things as a club and had some fun in the process - thank you all. I am excited for what things new leadership will bring to AZXC in 2010.  8)

Please, please try to make this meeting January 8th if your schedule allows. Even if only for a half-hour to get the agenda taken care of. I know we have all been busy the past few months, but clear a little time on a Friday night. If kids are an issue i.e. no sitter and don't want to bring them, bring 'em anyway! leave 'em in the car if it gets too cold. There will be pizza... ;D

I will be there, met a local who might show up as well and there is another guy who I have been trying to get there for a while now.
Not sure if either will be able to make it.
Both drive white X's.

I was going to bring a Lo Pro Lightbar or something to the meeting to donate for a raffle, but then I thought perhaps a certificate for $100 off any of my products might bring in more participants.

So thats what I am going to do, I will bring a certificate good for that amount to raffle, all proceeds go to the Fourpeaks Cleanup sponsorship.
I hope this is enough of a heads up as I was not expecting the meeting until later.

My products can be seen at www.xoskel.com

Sweetening the deal.
Also to be raffled off, one Bumper Mouth Bracket, it the prototype bar so there are less slots but the slots that are in it are in the best placement (fits only the 2005 2006 2007 2008 trucks with stock bumpers).

So list goes,

$100 certificate,
The original Xoskel prototype Bumper Mouth Bracket
and lastly, one brand new NewX calendar.

Not sure how to go about this, all in one, or three separate drawings.
Im thinking three separate drawings.

Great to meet you the other day, John and I look forward to meeting everyone else on Friday. I'll be bringing a buddy with me. He's trying to decide on either an Xterra or a Frontier so hopefully the meeting will sway him to the dark side !
