  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Moving to the PHX Metro area.
« on: November 02, 2016, 08:00:59 PM »
Hence my name, I'm originally from Ohio, I've been living in Yuma for 16 years, but now I'm moving up to the PHX Metro area. Long story short, my girlfriend got a job in Glendale and I'm filling out applications so I'm not a lazy bum at home. I look forward to exploring the new area and hopefully meeting some fellow members.

Some how I've spent the last 14 years working at a casino. Mostly working in the Slot Department, spent the last 6 years supervising slot technicians. I could always go that route, but I'm also considering something totally different for a change.

I went for an interview in Chandler this morning, they called me this afternoon to offer me the position. Things seem to work faster in the PHX area than they do down here in Yuma.

I'm not sure where we will be living yet. We checked out some places last weekend, we're going to be back in the area checking out more places next weekend.

South central Phoenix is where it's at! Definitely the most entertaining and you're always surrounded by police, so it's super safe!
Kidding, welcome!

I'll be living in Goodyear. It will take a little while to get used to the commute, but I'm considering using Audible to pass the time.

My last day at my old job of 14 years was on Wednesday and today was moving day. I really hate moving, but I'm sure others feel that way too. Now it's time to unpack and get settled in this new area before my new job starts on the 28th. On the drive from Yuma today I noticed that a fully loaded 26 foot long U-Haul truck gets the same gas mileage as my stock Xterra.
