Thank you to those that reached out and visited while I was in the hospital. I still have a long way to go, but I will be back on the trails soon.

CD Trail
« on: August 01, 2016, 01:09:29 PM »
Well, it was a bit of a bust. I had to turn around when I was in Gila National Forrest.

I had two blow outs within a few hundred miles of each other. I am not sure why. The tires were still good that had some 75% tread left and the load was no more than what I usually have
when traveling. They were P's (again I have never had a problem while off road) I now have Cooper Discoverer AT/3 LT285/75R/17's all round now.

The main reason for turning around was the trailer. The Rhino Rack was only attached to two of the cross beams rather than four. The installers missed that and so did I.

I'm a little disappointed but I will certainly do the CD trail next year.

Nothing a good welder can fix. Good thing nothing else went bad and still a safe trip back. Whats exactly is the CD trail?

Continental Divide Trail.

I'm getting a new rack, plus more anchor points for the Rhinorack. The good thing is "no expense on my part"

Did you rent that trailer? If so how much do they run?

No, I own the trailer.

They are a little expensive but I feel they are worth every penny. They are built for off road.

Price depend on what upgrades you want. 17K - 20K
