Victor, did you make it out in Saturday?  My brother was in town, so I couldn't go.  I did, however, make an impromptu trip to Table Mesa this afternoon.

I had a friend call me on Friday after he got stuck in his chevy asking me to come pull him out. By the time I got to him the road was about 2 feet under water. Here comes the bad part. As I was backing up to hook up to him I started sinking in the softest mud I have ever been in. Long story short after 45 minutes, 3 shovels, a piece of plywood that was floating by, and a torn right front cv boot I was out and we left him there. Scary thing was he was just off the road (dirt) that had turned into a 2 foot deep river after 2 inches of rain and we left his truck there for the sky to pour 5 more inches. Fortunatly for him when we got their on Saturday the truck was still there and not flooded. After a couple tugs with a Suburban he was home free. I was going to take pics but it was raining so hard I didn't want to ruin my camera.

Hey Joe glad it worked out better than the jeep thread.  Dangerous out there.  Good thing it never rains in the desert   ;)
