  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Clarification on camping location and meeting spot/which trail for Saturday morning would be great!  I'll either camp with you guys Friday or meet up for the run Saturday morning.

The Friday night camp hasn't been determined since we have 2 rigs already going to be out there from Thursday.

Saturday runs should be pass canyon and secret pass.
Everybody has been busy so details have been delayed till now lol.

I think we should camp at the spots we are thinking of using, packsaddle campground.  I want to check them out, I'll probably drive up to windy point to check it out as well.  I plan on running Secret Pass on Thursday to get a layout of the area and figure out timing to and from the campsite.  Advantages and disadvantages to overlanding vs leaving your gear set up.  On Saturday we will run Pass canyon, and return to the camp site at night.  I'll communicate my cell to those that dont have it, please post if you dont have it so we can message if we for some reason don't meet up.

Sorry details were slow coming, still catching up.

Campground is: Here

If you head into the campsite from the 93 and big wash it's green, if you go form the 125 its red, just a heads up.

I don't think Packsaddle Campground is big enough for more than 6-7 rigs; Windy Point might be a little bigger, but not much.

I think the Wild Cow Campground we stayed at on the last pre-run trip was REALLY good!  It has enough room and bathroom facilities (not flushable) for 30+ rigs, easy.  It's also in a good spot around all the areas that are being pre-run.

Packsaddle campground is tiny but no fee needed with bathrooms

Windypoint is bigger but the campsites are per rig and seperated alot with a fee.

Wild cow was the best even though we didnt explore further up all the campsites were really nice for a big group. Even though there was a fee it was really un maintained with trees down.

Ok, I was also recommended to check out Hualapai Campground, I see that is right next to Wild Cow as well.  So lets say Wild Cow Campground then, Here

I'll be up sometime Thursday then and we can all meet up at the campsite.

OP updated to save confusion.

Are you set on a campsite with bathrooms?  There are some cool spots around Kingman that are dispersed camping.

I want Avi to get a feel for those campgrounds in the Hualupai Mountains with bathrooms and garbage cans for the large group. As for Saturday im ok camping anywhere so throw out some suggestions.

I can camp anywhere, I was thinking of the full group at CANVAZ.  I'd like to get a feel for the sites and distances to each run.  That way I can decide what runs are best done each day.
