  • Conundrum: lol, they're contagious and more lights coming on, worrying to see the oil pressure indicator and also the windshield washer fluid lights, however I'll just wait and see if it goes away when things dry out. Good thing I took it through emissions this morning. Never Fails. lol

  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Howdy from QC
« on: February 16, 2017, 08:53:14 PM »
So the wife and I (Chris) bought our Xterra, shiny and new back in 2012, only used it for Camping n such, then I rolled it before I could hit 10k miles, needless to say, I'm in the repairing and rebuilding stage.  Also the wife (Lauren) is 12 weeks preggo with our first kid, so tomorrow is our first sonogram so lots going on atm.  As we get the x back up and running we look forward to meeting many of you folks face to face.

Sidnote, this having to verify each message is a bit rough, I keep getting the answer and year wrong  ;)

Welcome aboard, if you need help with work on the rig please post in the member section. I'm sure someone would like the project experience.

As far as the verification, IIRC it's only the first post, to keep spammers out. If you make a donation, $25 (includes club decal or patch) we can bump you to Supporting Member and you'll get rid of that verification and you'll have access in the club business. I updated the year answer, so that was my fault.

Congrats on the soon to be new edition to the family!

Thanks for the info and kind words, I'll def be a paying dues member after the x is back up and I can hit up an event.  Wife has never been to a club event but BW I was in MR2 club, 350z club, autocross club and look forward to the X club.

You're welcome to attend events even without the X, someone is usually willing to have a passenger on trails.
