  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Hmm i might ditch rebaselining the truck in redington that day (just installed lift)

how likely is dragging a bumper out there?

It all depends on what obstacles you decide to try.

I might be down for that.  Probably won't go all the way to CK, but far enough in before heading back.

in a lifted frontier, you can drive all the way from lake to General Store w/o touching a bumper. If you need a spotter, I'm sure you'd have the help required.

I'll be busier than I thought this weekend, so I'm out. Have a good run!

The trip turned out great. We ended up with seven rigs in our group. Nobody broke and my air compressor worked great.

We had my X leading the trail with 3 JK's, 2 XJ's, and a 4Runner. Ill post some pics soon in the pic area.

Did you play on any obstacles, or drive right up the trail? I drove down the backside in March, and there was 3-4 feet of snow at the top.. Needless to say, I just stuck to the trail as we made our descent.

We had two guys run every obstacle. I ran four of the seven.
