Let's get a morning crew/group to represent this every month! Since it is early in the morning it won't be too hot. I haven't been to these so I'm not sure if they do them during the summer months too or not.

Coffee and Crawlers at Desert Rat Off Road in Tempe! Stop by between 8-10am on the second Saturday of each month, grab a cup of Joe and meet up with other off road enthusiasts. We’re also inviting different manufacturers each month to answer questions about products, techniques, trails, tires, suspension and more. Check out some cool rides, create connections with people that share your passion and maybe even learn a thing to two. Free raffle tickets (just get there before 9am) with a chance to win Desert Rat gift cards and lots of other cool prizes.

Desert Rat is working with a couple of vendors on some great prizes. They also have a commitment from the Sheriff's Office to be on site and use one of their vehicles to collect the toys. Toys collected will directly benefit deserving families identified by patrol officers from interactions over the past 12 months; as well as, families from Saint Vincent De Paul during our annual Christmas distribution.

Bring the kids! Santa will be there, too!

Desert Rat and the AZ Jeep Club will be participating in a Poker Run style fundraiser starting soon with a larger than normal Coffee & Crawlers planned for the upcoming December 9th event. They are raising money and taking toy donations with the Maricopa County Sheriffs office. I'll post more details as they come out.

Depending on my schedule I would be willing to give this a 2nd try. The first time I was there it was mostly Jeeps and a couple Toyotas.

I will follow up later this week once the new schedule comes out.

It was a good event. Saw only a handful of non Jeeps. They got lots of toys! I didn't win anything. They had hot cocoa, Donuts, coffee and Santa was there... next months won't be so big.
