FS: 2005 Xterra Off-Road 4x4 in Tucson
« on: May 11, 2017, 08:57:11 PM »
Hey guys, been a while since I've posted I know.

Have had a lot of issues with depression and bad health. I can't even drive right now because of bad vertigo so I've made the decision to sell my precious X. If you guys know of anyone who wants to join the Nissan off road community inexpensively then please send them my way. For anyone who will join the AZXC I'm asking $4,000 (Will be listed as $5,000 on CL)

You can click my banner to see some of stories and work I've done to it.

I can best be reached by phone/text at (520)251-4584 or email: rev@sqmail.us

Here's the ad from CL:

For Sale:
2005 Nissan Xterra (Off-Road Model)
Mileage: 199,000 miles
Automatic Transmission
4WD, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Locking Rear Differential

The Good:
Cold AC
ARB Old Man Emu 2.5” Suspension Lift
-Full suspension replacement included shocks, front coils, rear leaf springs, and adjustable rear shackles
American Outlaw Shotgun Wheels 17x9
Nitto Terra Grappler 33” All-Terrain Tires with less than 2,000 miles on them
Xoskel Light Bar with 2 KC Fog Lamps and 2 KC Spot Lamps
Calmini Rear Steel Bumper w/ Tire Carrier and Hitch Receiver
-Added tow hook rings and trailer plug
-Drop Hitch Included
Ceiling Mounted CB Radio
New stereo system installed for Christmas
-Boss Audio everything - Head Unit w/ CD and Bluetooth, 4 Door Speakers and 2 Tweeters (Installed with real speaker mounts so they won’t bounce around on bumpy roads like speakers installed with mesh.)
Optima Red Top Battery
2 New Magnaflow Catalytic Converters - Will pass state emissions inspection

The Bad:
Front struts leaking
Power Steering Fluid leaking from Steering Rack
General wear

The maintenance has all been regularly taken care of from oil changes to coolant flushes to transmission fluid. I had the Radiator-Transmission bypass done on it so this vehicle will never have to worry about the “Strawberry Milkshake of Death” that affects these vehicle models due to transmission fluid and coolant mixing.

I’ve owned this Xterra since 2011. I had the suspension lift installed professionally at the local 4WheelParts store. The tires and wheels have warranties from Discount Tire. This is a great vehicle for exploring the trails all around Tucson, it can get just about anywhere around Reddington and the Mt. Lemmon areas. The fold flat back seats and roof rack make it great for camping. The bike rack over the spare tire is great for carrying a couple of mountain bikes too. The V6 engine has great power, even with 33” tires there’s no noticeable power drain.

If you’re looking for a good 4x4 that can tow some toys or just be fun on its own out on the trails then you’ll love this Xterra.
