  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Take A Moment to Read & Send A Letter! - OHV Cleanup Grant
« on: August 07, 2017, 10:19:20 AM »
Natural Restorations is asking for our help, please take a moment to write a quick letter to help them get a grant. They are doing great things by organizing these cleanups which gets it's money from Arizona State Parks' OHV funding. If you have not heard of the OHV Ambassadors by now, check with Pinchel (Rob) he's an official member and can answer your questions. I know there are also some other pending AZXC members/friends who are about to join them as well.

As an offroad club it is hard to organize these large group cleanups, so it is really great that they are taking this on, lets help support them even if you can not make to their cleanups.

Thank you!

********************
We are applying for another grant from the OHV Fund to continue removing trash & graffiti from OHV areas across the state in 2018, including new project sites. We are gathering letters of support to show a need for our projects and we need your help. If you agree there is a need for our trash & graffiti removal projects in OHV areas, we would greatly appreciate it if you would write a brief letter of support we can turn in with our application.

We want the letter to be in your own words; the text below is an example of what you could write about:

I am writing this letter in support of the Natural Restorations and their trash and graffiti removal projects in OHV areas across Arizona.

I am a member of the OHV community, recreate and utilize OHV areas, and see a huge need for cleanups in OHV areas.

I have volunteered with Natural Restorations and will continue to volunteer with them in the future.

If you are unable to sign the letter, please include a phone number and/or email address with your name & it will serve as your signature. You can address letters to AZ State Parks OHV Grant Committee. If you’re a member of an OHV group or outdoor recreation group, your Board of Directors can submit a letter of support. If your organization has volunteered with us, we’d love to hear from you too.

Letters can be emailed to contact@naturalrestorations.org by Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 to be included in our proposal. If you know anyone else who would like to submit a letter of support, please share our email with them.

Thank you so much for your support, we look forward to increasing our impact in 2018!

Have a great day!

Nicole
