  • AZGeorge: @Rob - I prototyped three different roof baskets.  Learned lots and scrapped them all.  Also took off the solar panel - going to mount a basket and hot water tank :)  Moving to 200 watt folding panels as I don't use them on the move anyway.

Hard to say, usually we go out and it's my birthday weekend, except this coming January we promised my daughter a birthday party but we have not decided which weekend that will be happening yet. Assuming we won't be going far from Phoenix, I'd have to vote for this to be late January.

I voted for the last weekend. It gives me a chance to fix the timing chain and get this Pro 4x/lift in.

Last weekend works best for me...maybe we can run a section of the AZ Peace trail for this run.  I would also vote for a trail I have not run before...

I'm looking forward to getting out again!  My only issue is my X is not lifted, so large obstacles are a no go, beyond that I'm open for any trail.

I suggested to Vic that we should do crown King, or something in the lake pleasant area

How about Lake Pleasant camping Friday night, back road to Crown King Saturday, camp somewhere, then Prescott via Senator Hwy Sunday?  I googled it and it seems pretty easy.  Just a thought . . .

Thats a great idea, but it wont be 2wd friendly. The back way to CK is getting bad.

I would prefer something more 2wd friendly, rather than having to leave my truck at home again. I did the back road to crown in Clifford before all of the changes, but with her just barely getting back on her feet I don't want to push her too hard yet. I understand that some 2wd trails are not as fun for you guys, but something thats maybe right on the cusp of being 2wd or not. If you guys insist on doing a 4x4 only run thats fine too. Just adding my 2 cents
