Tucson alignment
« on: March 04, 2018, 10:12:43 AM »
Hello I recently purchased a 2015 pro4x Xterra. Does anybody know a good alignment shop in the Tucson or Phoenix area that understands how to do alignment on lifted vehicles? I just installed SPC ucas, PRG variable height shackles, PRG 3 degree Axle shims and a PRG 2-inch coilover spacer. Thank you for any suggestions. I heard Desert Rat off-road may be able to do it. I realize I could probably do it by myself but I'd rather just take it to an expert. I'm going to pay my membership dues in a second and I look forward to meeting some of you! I'm definitely not new to Nissans I've had a Titan, a couple Frontiers and a couple Xterras. Thank you for any advice you can give me for a good alignment shop. If anybody is willing to help me do a DIY alignment I will gladly pay you in food, beer, ammo or whatever you need!

I've been going to a nearby BigO and asked them to match the price and they've been giving me the $50 alignments now. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I installed PRG 2" coilover spacers and spc uca's. The camber setting is nearly identical on both sides and the eccentric is set to the D position. I used the brutal method for initial cam bolt positions. The steering wheel has to be cocked to the left to drive straight. I wanted to go see Rankin but haven't been able to get up to the Phoenix area..... Sooo I just had it aligned at a place in Oro Valley ( they only used the cam bolts on the lca's to align it they told me) and now it has to be cocked to the left even more. Here are some photos AFTER i had it aligned. Any input on what might be the problem would be much appreciated as always thanks a lot for the advice!

Tie Rod adjustment will center the steering wheel. That is part of the alignment process. I would take it back to them and have it done right by someone that knows what they are doing.

Might need to take it else where to get an ideal alignment.
