  • PitSnipe (Kyle): Wow, I have not heard of this issue. 15 hour job for a $50 part is nuts. Hopefully someone that knows of this issue will speak up.

  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

Not from Hawai`i, but lived in Makakilo, Pearl City, Ewa Beach.  Spoke more Hawaiian than many kama`aina.  Left 18 years ago.

Glad to see there are plenty of locals in the club..I do NOT miss pearl city traffic though
We gotta get together and do a run or camping trip or something soon. I work nights this month (6pm-6am) and a rotating shift so my schedule is all hemajang. Iíll be up close to flagstaff next weekend and might hit up the expo if I have time. Have a camping trip that I planned with some buddies before I knew about the expo. It would be awesome to meet up with some locals with common interests!🤙🏼

Yea dude sounds good, I was thinking about hitting up the expo as well, I doubt I'll be able to get up there on Friday, but could definitely camp Saturday to Sunday and hit up the expo for a day. Otherwise I'm the usual 8-5 Mon thru Friday worker so weekends I'm always free.

If there is a group camp going on in flag from fri-sat I can probably make it for the camp sesh. If I leave right after work...probably pull into camp right around sun down.

Iím actually camping out near stoneman lake with some buddies on Friday night. But on Saturday I might be able to sneak off to the expo or just meet up with wherever everyone is camping at so I can meet some of you. What are the campsite coordinates?
