  • Conundrum: Wow, with all the rain I've been in as well as flooding in the X on Fat Tire, I have a new issue. Set light blinking rapidly and goes away after restarting the engine. I did a little research and I guess the cruise actuator can get nasty and seems plausible since I went through a puddle on purpose on the right hand side and that made the set light for cruise start flashing again. I'll check it out after the rain stops. lol Have fun and be safe out there everyone.

Hey Everyone
« on: October 01, 2018, 10:43:04 AM »
Hello from Sedona!
My name is Nyles, I have a 05' Nissan Xterra 4x4 108k miles
I have done a few ugrades/mods and some preventative maintenance over the last 2 years I've had it.
OME Full Lift Kit
SPC UCA's
1.5" spider traxx wheel spacers
Bully Dog tuner
Dog Thorley Shorty Headers
XTP IMS
CSF All Aluminum radiator with silicon hoses
External Tranny cooler
New Cats and 02 sensors
Oil presure sensor and MAF sensors
Timing chain/belts tensioners guides
Fuel pump housing
All new SS break lines
New Reybestos premium pads, calipers and rotors
I have a P&P grill that I am going to install once my Heftyfab Tube bumper gets here
Blacked out the bumpers, rims and roof rack.
Took off the side steps and mud flaps.
BFG KO2 32's
I love my Xterra and I've dubbed it "The (Millenium) Falcon"
Mainly because I am a big nerd
I am looking at getting a set of either MK84 extended travel front shocks or RADFLO's with a 1' spacer.
I like the idea of not having to get the RAD's sent in to be rebuilt and be without them fr a few weeks.
Anyways!
Glad to be here and thanks for having me!

Nice looking rig! Welcome! I’ve ran the MK84s and I really liked them the down side is yes you don’t have to rebuild them but when they go bad you have to purchase new shocks to replace them.. I am currently running 2” radflos with my Titan swap and I like them a lot. Here’s a pic of my rig on broken arrow in July.

Welcome and nice rig.
I have ran radlfos for a couple years and they are now blown but will be similar ride quality. I just seen that prg is offering a bilstien 5100s with custom top hats letting you run coilover springs like the mk84s and radflos. I think $700 for the pair.

The ones they sell run the 2.5” coils like the radlfos but the stock coils with 5100s I think are the best bang for your buck.

I know after looking up the radflo shocks and seeing the price tag on them and after talking with the guys at Desert Rat offroad here close to the house, The bilsteins were the cheaper way to go and still did exactly what I wanted them to do. I measured the rear from the ground to the lip of the wheel well and then measured the front. I'm sitting 100% level at 36.5 inches all the way around. I have shots on my build thread of the before and after the install. Couldn't be happier. I'm still running 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro At's.

Nice Frontiers guys!!
Maybe same day I'll be able to afford a T-swap.
I actually just scored a set of MK84 's for $350 and a pair of 1" nisstec spacers for $40. Probably get everything installed next week.
