  • jcm45: Hi everyone, I just joined up here and am looking for some advice. Anyone have a shop they recommend for their Xterra? I just purchased an 02 and discovered the seller managed to cover up a thrown rod so likely need a new engine. I've called a few shops and most seem to not be overly familiar with them. I don't want someone inexperienced potentially doing something wrong or milking the labor. Can anyone recommend a shop that's had this done before?

Charoleau Gap run 12/15
« on: December 07, 2018, 10:13:36 AM »
I know some people couldn't make this weekend but it's the only weekend I have free until January.  If anyone wants to get in on this run it will be a great time to do it.

I am planning to just run through in one day but for anyone that wants to camp I can show you some a great spot not too far from the town of Oracle where we will come out of the trail.

Post up if you are interested!

If anyone does decide that they can make it.  Details are below.

meeting time: 8:30am
meeting place: Valero gas station in Catalina

This trail is about 20 miles, it will be 4x4 the entire way. It will be an all day trip.  I wouldn't expect to be off the trail until at least 2 or 3pm at best.  There is some really good camping not too far from the Oracle end of the trail that I can show to anyone who wants to camp.

If anyone wants to contact me for more information please feel free.  520-349-9161.

It was good.  We did go all the way.  I took a few pics but I only posted them on my IG account.  Look up @azadventure4x4.
