  • jcm45: Hi everyone, I just joined up here and am looking for some advice. Anyone have a shop they recommend for their Xterra? I just purchased an 02 and discovered the seller managed to cover up a thrown rod so likely need a new engine. I've called a few shops and most seem to not be overly familiar with them. I don't want someone inexperienced potentially doing something wrong or milking the labor. Can anyone recommend a shop that's had this done before?

Thanks. When you do make it to big bear, send me a message. It’s my normal spot and I’ve done all those trails forwards and backwards a dozen times. Be happy to help you explore. I’m going to be in Sedona in November with the X, hoping to get a couple trails in.

Once you get exact dates for Sedona we can make it a club event and post it up on our calendar get more rigs out there with you.

I will be in Sedona November 4-7, tenitivly I have the 5th reserved for hiking the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial and the 6th reserved for 4x4’in. I would really like to complete Smiley Rock, Soldier Pass, and Broken Arrow, although I realize 3 trails is a lot for 1 day.

The activities on the 5th and 6th can be swapped depending on weather to make the hike better.

Soldiers Pass needs a permit and only a certain number are allowed per day. I would start looking into that now.

From what I’ve found online, you can only apply 90 days out from requested date. And only so many permits are given a day

Copy. I just had to rebuild my 380c and now it’s not building any pressure after 100psi
