  • Crow82: I’m pretty sure it’s a vacuum leak somewhere but I changed the driver side valve cover gasket and when I finished it got worse and now stahls right out once I let off the gas.

HAM Operators Needed by August 2020
« on: October 25, 2019, 06:53:44 AM »
Hello Everyone!

For those of you who are HAM licensed already, great! We need your help for Flag2GC 2020 and future events. We want to reduce communication gaps to nearly zero if possibly for upcoming events and I propose for those of us who are not licensed already that we set a date for test taking and do it together.

I was using HAMStudy.org in the past to study and just never fully committed to taking the test. It's super easy to study and take sample tests. It even tracks your progress. The only downside to this particular website is that it doesn't seem to be linked to test taking opportunities in Arizona. No worries though, there are test taking opportunities almost every other week somewhere in the valley.

Let's do this! Who's in it to win it?!

If we can get maybe 5 or more this would benefit the trail runs alot. I'm also in the market for a GMRS radio with higher power and will pay the minimal license fee.

I have seen the 8watt handhelds reach a good distance with original antenna. We should do group/club study sessions.
