Thanks Wally.  ;)

There are bypasses for most everything. There are lines that are 3.0 all the way to 5.0 for buggys. Not advised without a locker & belly armor.

I also have an open seat if anyone wants to ride for the day,  8)

i would like to go on the trip but my son has a soccer game at 8:00am to 9:00am in the moring.

I wonder if we would be able to catch up with the group on the the trail.

I never been on the trail before and I'm not to sure what the name of the trail is.

This was low interest in this run... only one person as of Thursday. I encourage everyone who is now interested to coordinate with each other and go. There isn't any reason to not go if you want to.

As of this moment, there isn't anything posted up about remaining people going and I'm not aware of anything going on off the board. I missed some previous posts... Touch bases with Tim and see what is going on with that open invite posted above in this thread.

So are there any other runs scheduled for tomorrow. I'm itching and want to go. Maybe as someone said this is to far. Any other closer runs for tomorrow?

Just changed everything. Going to Tucson with my daughter to see butterflies. I'm going to take my car to save gas!

Has anything been planned for Sunday?

I had really hoped to go on this, but I just wasn't able to pick up a set of used off road wheels/tires.  If I was sure that there would have been bypasses than I would have went with my street set up.  I'm still very interested in doing this sometime after I get some more appropriate wheels/tires.

Just got a call from Ghostrider, looks like he is doing this Xcursion all by himself, only one who showed up at the meeting place.

Re: April Xcursion - April 24th - Wickenburg Mountains The Not Event!
« Reply #43 on: April 25, 2010, 08:20:24 PM »
Well, what can I say. I have been planning this trip for a month now and I work 6 days a week,  I am disapointed that with all the members  this club has, a newby and  with a genuinue interest in joining the club is one that showed up  (early) ready to go.

I think going forward the leadership needs to get a head count early on.   If the event does not have ample partipation< call the event.    My time is very limited just to have these outings.   Best of all makes the leadership to have final decision, for the best of the club.

I know this not the US Army Transportation Doc,  but we should be more organized.

I am sorry I am not very political.  :o

Now I got that 800 lb Gorrila off my chest, I will tell you about my non-event run with whoooping 1 Xtera!

I proceeded to what I estamated the most logical route and I motored down with a convoy of 1 truck to the area , Topa, AZ. (I am not sure of the Spelling)  I follow 3 routes but I found that the unimproved roads /trails no longer are there. The AZ canal cuts all 3 routes at the base of the Mountain.

When I was just about to give up, a couple of Jeep Guys linked up and I follow them the335th street and made a day of it chasing Ghost at the Vulture MIne. Talk about a creeeeepy place!   Some of the grime history is 7 crimmals were hung from the Glory Pit and a bunch of deathe resulting from early mining.
Got some great pictures and Joe the mess cook says hey. He only beeen there for 100 years!
Plus played in the area and the land scape is more than words!
