Ideas for Future Activities - Volunteering
« on: March 31, 2010, 11:37:59 AM »
I sent out a couple of "feeler" emails for info on Volunteer Opps since it received a lot of votes in the poll. The responses have been pretty slim... I'll keep on it so you guys can have some choices for when ever.

But I did just get an email today from Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department. They were letting me know that they were forwarding my email to the Lake Pleasant Park Supervisor (cause I told them we spend a lot of time there). They also wanted to know if there were any other (Maricopa County) parks we'd be interested in... that was the extent of the email.

What do you guys think? Post up your thoughts... Everyone post up!
Do you have a favorite MC Park?
Might you like to do something like a "wheel and trash-pick-up day"? Or a "wheel and some-kind-of-volunteering day"?

You know... we all usually pick up trash anyway when we wheel...  ;) So something like this wouldn't be bad at all.

Why could'nt we get a reduced trail fee at least, for our time? ???

Sounds Good! I'll start a new thread this week for a May Xcursion at Lake Pleasant for trash pick up as soon as I get more info.
