  • downs44: Got an 06 that just went through SMOD. Got everything replaced. Now my low oil pressure light is flickering on after the engine warms up and the truck is at idle. Doing some digging on the forums it looks like a common problem is the rear timing cover gallery gasket leaking and causes the symptoms. Looks like a 15 hour or so repair for a $50 part. Was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and any words of advise. To save some dialogue, the oil pressure sensor is about a year old and I changed the oil and filter after i noticed the light and that did not fix the issue.

^^no worries Scott, work definitely comes first...well, family comes first, and then work, and then other stuff.  I'm hoping this grows into a yearly event (kinda like the one at 4 Peaks).

Great News!  "The Good Guys at" Kalil (Bottling) are donating 10 cases of soda to the cleanup!!!  All I have to do is call them when I am ready to pick it up.

Also, Barros Pizza called me back, and they want to donate some pizzas as well - they will forward the information to their store manager up in Anthem (the closest store to the cleanup).  They won't be able to give us a million pizzas, but they will be able to supplement our lunch.

Things are coming together quite nicely!

The Arizona ATV Riders (www.azatvriders.org) have teamed up with Barros Pizza to donate a bunch of pizzas to the cleanup! This is great news, but it will not be enough to feed everyone.

With 200+ people coming (probably closer to 300), we will also need to cook hot dogs.  I'm bringing my gas grill (because I'll be camping).  Can someone from AZXC also bring another grill, or maybe two people bring grills?

I am still trying to find a donor that can donate some hot dogs to the cause (we'll need 200 hots and buns).  Is this something that AZXC could donate to?

(I would buy the dogs, but I already bought $150 worth of trashbags, and I'm having stickers made up, so I'm cash poor at this point.)

Another local club may be able to give a money donation for the food.  I should know more in the next few days (after their meeting).  That being said, it would be cool if we could do the cooking and possibly bring the the mustard, ketchup, and plates/napkins.

Do we know who has the AZXC banner?  We will definitely need to bring that out and display it proudly (as we are techinically the ones helping organize the cleanup, we have donated the trashbags, and we are doing the cooking).

BTW, I've contacted Jason from the Nissan test facility, and we just might get lucky enough to see Project X2 at the cleanup.  That would be really cool!

Ted, have you checked with any of the hot dog resturants (Joeys of chicago, Lukes, etc) to see if they would donate any hot dogs and buns in return for their banner hung where the cooking is being done?

^^ I have not.  I'll ask around, but keep in mind, we'll need at least 200 hot dogs.  It would be cool if a hotdog shop were to donate some, though.

I just got word that Four Wheeler magazine will be at the cleanup!!!  You've got two weeks to finish your mods, and get your trucks "magazine ready".

Just wanted to let everyone know that there is a FundRazr app to allow donations to the Table Mesa Cleanup on the Facebook page. Ted still has alot to purchase for food and refreshments. I know times are tuff right now but every little bit counts.

Please make a donation for food. Ted is investing countless hours and plenty of his own money to make this happen. Table Mesa is an area we all use and want to stay open. Efforts like this cleanup are recognized and do help the cause. With that said there will be over 250 people coming to the cleanup. There is no way 30-40 pizzas are going to feed 250+ people. We are trying to get a hot dog vender to support the cleanup and donate more food. If everyone could pass on one Starbucks this week and send 5 bucks Teds way it will help to make sure everyone has a satisfied belly after hours of cleaning up our playground.

Please help.
